Lol Cooksey, Terry Corder, Gary Broughton, Dick Parkhouse.

Yvonne Cleland… That’s TC!

Phil Gill… I know two of the Fokkers.

Phil Thornton… so do I ….

Tim Moose Bruce… saw them on the pier. they were support act for Budgie 1981 or 1982

Will Cornell… Can’t read the other bass drumhead…if it says “Mutha” I’m afraid he’s either set them up backwards or he got his gear mixed up with that belonging to a hardcore hiphop/rap act……

Tony Court-holmes… lol with hair

Linda Day… I was in same class at school as Terence Corder.

Mick O’Dowd… He became a teacher I believe Linda

Stephen Winterbottom… I was in a couple of bands with Gary back in the day and I’ve been trying to track him down and get in contact… Anyone know if he is still in the Bexhill/Hastings area?
If anyone has contact info for him it would be awesome!!

Alan Esdaile… Happy to pass on any information to Steve.

Ernest Ballard… Ah Gary Broughton. Remember gigging with him n Dave.

Stephen Winterbottom… still trying to track down Gary Broughton… seems to have vanished ….

Schnoz… Remember Gary and “The man with the golden tooth” (temporarily forgotten his name sorry) i did operate the desk for them along with Simon Halsey back then and later again as Die Laughing with other members Dave Wood and Richard (big dick) Parkhouse ,i remember the Budgie support event on the pier

Keep getting asked where people can buy this from.

So far…. Available NOW ON ITUNES  https://itun.es/us/rna0bb
physical copy… www.cdbaby.com/cd/factory1
AND they will be available at the Marina Fountain gig on April 29th!

Teresa Qunta… It’s available on iTunes and Amazon as download (physical copies will be available on Amazon soon) and there will be some available at the Marina Fountain gig next week. OMG NEXT WEEK!!!! YAY!

Tony May… I bumped into Lol Cooksey dragging a suitcase in the town centre earlier today! Congratulated him and the band on the release of their first album and bought my copy from him. Nice to see some long standing local heroes doing well and great to be able to show my support!

Mick O’Dowd… I’ve chipped in to their pension fund as well!

Geoff Peckham… Cheers, Mick. You’re welcome to stay on my yacht in Monté Carlo any time!

Jim Breeds… Was it a suitcase full of CDs? I’m biding my time on the purchase. I want all 4 signatures on it on Friday night! Or there’ll be trouble!

Factory – Castle On A Hill 1971

Andy Qunta……This was the band I was in back in the early ’70’s, when we were all still toddlers of course! A song of mine that was the softer B-side of our single “Time Machine”, a heavy rock song by Tony. Andy Qunta, lead vocals, 12-string guitar/Tony Qunta, lead guitar, backing vocals/Laurie Cooksey, drums, backing vocals/Jaffa Peckham, bass, backing vocals. Would love to do a reunion gig with these guys!

Chris Baker…..Do you know where Jaffa and Laurie are now? Excellent musicians too!

Andy Qunta…..Actually, Chris Baker, as it happens I just talked to both of them, on the phone to Laurie, and by Facebook to Jaffa and I believe they are currently at home, in Sussex & Kent respectively!

Chris Baker…..Oh excellent news! Factory reunion is looking promising! I’d come down for that and do some Grandad Dancing too!

John Storer…..It is amazing how the brain retains musical memories …. was the proud owner of this single but gave it to my sister in 76 and haven’t heard it since. As soon as it started on YouTube, though, I remembered every note of it. Excellent stuff … am a sucker for late 60s / early 70s psychedelia.

Yvonne Cleland…..fAR oUT!”
