Beatles Day 17 – White Rock Theatre Hastings Sunday 3rd April 2016.

Beat the queues…. On Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March 2016 there will be a Beatles Day stall in Priory Meadow, Hastings where you can buy your tickets, t-shirts and raffle tickets! So why not beat the queues and get them in advance. Tickets are £12.50, £7.50 for children aged 5-14 years or £30 for a family ticket which admits 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 14 and under. Raffle tickets are only £1 each with 100 prizes up for grabs. Come along and show your support for Hastings Beatles Day and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Tim Bruce… Are Factory there this year? I am on with Eclipse at 3.45 on main stage. Beatles songs in the style of Pink Floyd. Look out for the Rocking Ambassadors and Rusty nuts too, Both downstairs.

Alan Esdaile… Factrio (3 of Factory) are following your set with Eclipse Tim and are scheduled for 4.00 in the main auditorium.

Pete Prescott… Favourite Beatles song… tough one, so many. For nostalgia reasons Penny Lane Eleanor Rigby Fixing a hole Blackbird I am the walrus and A day in the life. Was I supposed to pick one ? Lady Madonna I feel fine Something I want you she’s so heavy . . .

Eric Harmer… The ERIC HARMER BAND is playing Hastings BEATLES DAY on Sunday 3rd April 12:45 pm in the Sussex Hall at the WHITE ROCK THEATRE. It’s a new 5 piece band of friends performing for a great cause, MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT.  ERIC HARMER, vocals and guitar.  CHRIS JOLLY, lead guitar and backing vocals. JIM WESTLAKE, harmonica and vocals.  JOHN DELIPPS, bass guitar and backing vocals.  MARTIN STOGGELL, drums. Hope to see you there.

Alan Esdaile… Well done to Pete Prescott for Beatles Day 17.  Final figure to be confirmed but looks like over £22,000 was raised. Brilliant musicians and a Great day.

Bob Bailey… Well done to all involved in the arrangements etc

Cliff Wootton… Really enjoyed the day. Some fantastic performances and original arrangements. Huge fun and totally great to hang out with some old friends.

Barry French… Congratulations to Pete & his hard working team. Auditoriums were packed. I can’t single out any performances, I just thought every act I saw was great. It was really refreshing to see so many young bands/musicians playing so brilliantly. It shows that the future of Hastings music is in safe hands.

Pete Prescott… There are some amazing young players out there. I try to get as many as I can each year.

    Both auditoriums were packed.
    I cant single out any performances, I just thought every act I saw was great.
    It was really refreshing to see so many young bands/musicians playing so brilliantly.
    It shows that the future of Hastings music is in safe hands.
