John Breeds… Bryan Baker, John Breeds and the late Chris Turner at The New Broom, Broomgrove.

Richard Turner… My uncle Chris on the right.

John Wilde… My ole mate Chris. Man we had some fun. Shine on wherever you are.

Harry Randall… Chris bless him! Not only played with him as a kid but also in my band way back when we both had hair! RIP! Miss him and Tony/Vic Bridger!

Tony May… Brian Baker still lives in Hollington. He teaches guitar sometimes. He went on to be in the band, ‘Talisman’ who had an LP and single out called ‘Sounds In Our Minds’.

Tony Court-holmes… yet another lost pub

Lynda Caine… Yes very true Tony Court-holmes my parents were the publicans of the Broom and I can honestly say it really was a great boozer and The Midnight Shift, Jinks and Hippo all played there and it always was a packed house. Great era the 70s and the 80s great community happy days everyone enjoying themselves
