Chris Meachen… We’ve got ‘tomorrow cats’ who seem to be able to appear & vanish at will…
Nick Prince… I saw very little of it but was aware of it’s existence from Look-In. I believe it clashed with the Blue Peter time slot which is probably why and watched the BBC’s flagship until around the end of The Tomorrow People’s original run in 1979. However, programmes produced for children by ITV didnt suit the upbringing as an only child and a private school education in my mothers eyes and Blue Peter it was. Having said that, the television did get switched to Southern and Thames at every opportunity whenever her back was turned. Susan Shranks cleavage was always so much more pleasing to the eye than Leslie Judd’s or Valerie Singleton’s Ironically, I would have quite liked The Tomorrow People bearing in mind what the story line was about.
Jane Saunder Jyoti… OMG I loved the tomorrow people watched this always x
Dawn Baker… I loved this show growing up
Catherine Ireland… I love seeing old commercial. I appeared in a lot myself so I am always searching.I have found 4 of the Thomas cook commercials, but there were so many more I can’t find. Also Lift Off with Ayshea for Granada. We had some great bands on the show I was one of the dancers known as the feet. Great fun.
Will Cornell… Don’t recall us importing that one, but the intro looked like it could’ve been up there in “Twilight Zone” territory!
