Alan Esdaile… I can remember a tea and coffee place on the left with papers for sale in the corner and a carpeted dark bar area on the right?

Pete Fairless… I remember it from the ’70s and early ’80s

Coco Pops… That particular Smell from the Lavs!!

Alan Esdaile… Didn’t the buffet bar have a musty cigarette beer stained smell?

Nicola Barfield… I worked there omg memories. Walk through door papers in corner then a long bar to get teas coffees sandwiches cakes then other site on right long bar with stools and chairs and tables at the end omg I can see me behind the counter serving that’s when British rail owned it. That was 1986

Peter Houghton… Lease then you could sit down and have a cup of tea and something to eat before you travel

Dennis Torrance… When I was a youngster remember going into cafe there many a time with mum and dad it’s wonderful a memory put on here about the past a bell in your head goes off and your back there

Jim Hobbs… Preferred the old station, full of character unlike the current bus shelter.
