Will Cornell… Hmm, 1970….a lot of bands were faves but the one I’m proudest of in retrospect: the Beach Boys…and I caught hell for it. They were in the wilderness in their home country then. But listen to “Sunflower” today and compare it to the crap by the bands those who ribbed me then were gushing over, like the “Skull and Roses” double live Dead album (yawn) or “Closer to Home” by those posers Grand Funk. “Sunflower” blows them out of the water…the “Cool Cool Water”.

Peter Millington… Me too Bobby but Everly Brothers, although not a band were brilliant, For a while they used the Crickets as their backing group – 2 in 1 Yipeee

Alan Esdaile… The Doors and Fleetwood Mac.

Tracey Gee… Blondie

Moya Wilson… Beatles

Richard J Porter… Glenn Miller, he was the latest band on the streets!!

Colin Bell… Love, Electric Prunes and The Who.

Andy Qunta… Would have been either The Who, Beach Boys, Hollies or Stones maybe. So many great bands back then!

Eric Cawthraw… For me that’s 1967, so probably a toss-up between a Mr. J Hendrix and the Small Faces. Almost too far back to say for sure!
