Tony May… I was with Style Promotions when working at Stylus and D.J’ing up at Flamingoes in Queen’s Rd.
Terry Tollan… Was our agent too back in the day Black Velvet.
Tony Ham… The Dekorators, used to see them playing in Rye. Used to go on Terry Avann’s coach trips to WWF wrestling, also remember seeing wrestling he put on on Hastings Pier.
Nastassja Kaschevsky… We played some good gigs there Tony, happy days!

Mick O’Dowd… Terry Alan was also DJ Terry Avann who was a regular at Pebbles Night Club Winchelsea Beach in the 80’s. Anyone know if he’s still around?

Leigh Wieland-Boys…..he was so good to me, Used to have a lot of ‘bother’ when working at Saturdays as a cocktail waitress! He was my Knight in Shining Armour on more than one occasion
Andre Martin…..That is Alan to a Tee – Perfect Gentleman – but if you upset him, and it took a lot – heaven help you I R I P old friend.
Alan Esdaile….He used to have some great stories to tell.
Charlie Ball…..I rember him, he was bouncing over bexhill, another regular, saw him throw a bloke through a window, any one remember the place, left off king offa way at the lights, ?

Pauline Richards… Yes remember Alan Markwick. He also was a bouncer on the pier
Pete Millington… Yes I remember him!
Gerry Fortsch… I remember him and his family well.
Mick O’Dowd… A perfect gentleman was Alan. Quiet, efficient and fair. Took no messing but always sorted problems before they could get out of hand. He had a great team behind him. I remember Tiny , who must have been pushing 7ft ! Also Jonah who is featured on this post and a guy who I can’t remember his name but he worked at the Crematorium and used to tell some scary stories.
Alan Esdaile… Yes agree on what you say about Alan. I remember the guy that worked at the crematorium but can’t remember his name. Also not forgetting Peter Pursglove. They were all a great team.
David Boss… Alan also worked for Mills scaffolding
Gerry Fortsch… Alan’s brother Les also worked on the pier, it would be nice to see a picture of him also.
