Alan Esdaile… Bob McKenzie from Stylus Records promoted this. I think he did book The Syd Lawrence Orchestra originally but they cancelled at last minute and he replaced them with Johnny Lambe. Johnny Lambe was a nice guy and the orchestra were excellent but money was lost, as didn’t have the pulling power of Syd Lawrence.
