Bizarre billing for the original support!

Sarah Harvey……Nutz first appearance on 30th April 1977 plus Stephen Turner’s preview of the gig. Also a quick return 3 months later on July 16th. Note the forthcoming gig with Head On and Steppin’ Out on the following Thursday.

Alan Esdaile… The lead singer Dave Lloyd was the voice of .. only the crumbliest flakiest chocolate ad.

Pete Prescott… Although I still lived in north Kent I visited Hastings that weekend and went to this gig.

Dave Weeks… Nutz. Yes I was one of the very few there. Good night though and good fun band.

Moody Blues – Witch Doctor 1st Birthday night 16th July 1965

Lloyd Johnson… I went to this gig!…the WERE Magnificent with Denny Laine.

Colin Bell… Even remastered ‘Go Now’ still suffers bloody awful distortion. I asked Denny about this in the 90’s and even he admitted the original ‘master’ was distorted! Still a great record though.

John Busbridge… I was there, I still have the ticket and a signed photograph! And the original LP

Bob Cockburn… They were excellent that night!!

David Edwards… In the midst of so much guitar led pap this came along with the driving piano and Denny’s unique vocals, wonderful!!

Stuart Tanner… Remember it well.

Mick O’Dowd… The REAL Moody Blues with Denny Laine! I seemed to vaguely remember going to this.

Judith Monk… I was there.
