Leigh Wieland-Boys… I was there that night!

My Lorde Sheriff’s Complainte 1978

Steve Cooke… Knew Phil and his family well from school days as they lived along the road from me. He and two of his sisters were in the Youth Orchestra with me. So much Hastings arts history with that family – I could go on! Lovely memories.

Fawlty Towers Rejection Letter

© John Cleese.  https://www.facebook.com/thejohncleese

John Cleese said… The man who commissioned the series told me, after the first episode ” You’ll have to get them out of the hotel more ” After two shows, the Daily Mirror announced ” Long John short on jokes ” And the Spectator went on and on hating it… My greatest successes began with rejections.

David Miller… I suspect the rejecters were previously employed at Decca records.

Phil Thornton… Dave, nice one !

Julie L Sanchez… David, That’s exactly what came to mind! Ha!

Lyn Humphrey… Every episode a classic.
