Mike Waghorne… Remember them running cables from house to house in the late 50’s early 60’s. .

Time Moose Bruce… I remember TV programs interrupted by ” This is a Rediffusion announcement.” Usually an apology for poor TV reception. Sometimes an announcement my local police searching for missing person or child.

Jim Hobbs… Cable TV before we knew that was a thing.

Linda Gowans… Brown Bakelite sets with a switch for Home Service, Light Programme or the Third Programme.

Nigel Ford… is all that cable still in the ground? Very valuable copper, I expect. The inspection covers are still up Harold Road.

Ray Alan with Lord Charles – White Rock Pavilion Hastings 18th April 1976

poster: Van Buren

Matt Thomas… He was one of the many now missing signed photos in frames that were once displayed in the Stage Door Bar when I worked there.

Alan King… I was gonna get a vent doll made of Pete Docherty and go around saying Got any Gear ?

Nigel Ford… I didn’t know he died 10 years ago… but I see it was during May so wouldn’t have heard any news that month with Hastings Rock being on air.

Late Night Love- Battle Memorial Hall and Pandora’s Box Hastings Pier Restaurant 18th April 1969

18th april 1969 - late night love

18th april 1969 - pandora's box

Nigel Ford… Reckon I must have been ill that night as I don’t remember “Late Night Love” band at all. No recollection of the name whatsoever.

Candy Choir and Mood Reaction – June 1969

Mick O’Dowd… It’s that Candy Choir mob again. Keep popping up all over the place. I must say I liked them. They are billed as a “Rye Recording Artists” did they come from there?
