Kevin Gordon… This photo taken by my great-uncle in Hastings made me smile. My great-aunt Alice is on the right reading the paper. What date do you think?

John Wilde… Early 60s, the Police station was across from there.

Sharon Sellens… 1961

Carol Paffett… Yes the police station was round by the flats , plus Chatsworth Hotel

Paul Marshall… What a fantastic picture

Paul Knight… Great photo there probably saying these youngsters of today

Jacqueline Marsh… Those old girls worked hard in their lifetime. I bet they are not as old as they look to us now. It was a harder life back then.

Kevin Carlyon… 1965

David Hazleton… lovely photo,  glimpse of classic seafront lights individual bulbs !! I think the shelters were designed to have fans on the roofs to ventilate exhaust fumes from underground car park or did i dream that ??

Chris Fitzgerald… I remember the police station being there too.
