Tony Davies – Fifty Year Blues Song 2003

The year was 2003, January and I was fifty, it hit me like a hammer, why hadn’t I done all those things I’d planned to do, where had all those dreams gone. Well, the first thing I done was write this song, the second was put the house in England up for sale and not long after that, bought a house in France, the start of one dream, that was eight years ago and the dreams keep on coming.

Tony Davies… It’s been 21 years now living in Normandy and we’re still living the dream, although my wife visits England more than I do. I still play the guitars every day and jot the odd words down to go with the tune but that’s for my amusement only. Life is good, live the dream.

Tim Phillips… Love Tony’s playing . He started me playing guitar many years ago . A good friend ever since
