Rakesh Solanki… The fab Second Line at the Rye Jazz fest!

Mark Gilham… This is so cool

Pete Shaw…  Man, that band has funk streaming through it!
Thoroughly got wrapped in their groove boogie-ing behind them…snare drummer played great and had a great sound!

Chris Meachen… Wonderful and eccentric..

Tony Davis… Went to see Wilko Johnson last night. A short (70 min) and sweet set. Full of energy and some old Feelgood numbers. Support was really interesting and enjoyable. A guy called Joe Corbin with a blues/set. Great version of Jimi Hendrix Red House. Could be one to watch.

Jenny Tyler… Thanks to Hastings Rock, for some brilliant rock.

Alan Esdaile… some great classic. Not many new bands and the bands that changed our youth are still at the top.

Wendy Weaver… What no WASP? I”m getting the DTs

Jim Breeds… Some duffers in that list! Six by AC/DC for starters.

Alan Pepper… Thanks for that ! Didn’t hear it all on Friday night. I had three in the top ten on my list that was entered . Won’t get fooled again was top of mine.  Hasn’t changed much over the years has it ? but loads by sabbath and AC/DC I notice !! By the way where do you draw the line in this genre Does new wave count –  Jam / Ian Dury / Pistols etc. ? Great music nevertheless  ROCK ON TOMMY !!

Alan Esdaile… I thought they would have had a lot of younger listeners voting for Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Black Veil Brides etc. but perhaps they agree that early rock is better.

Thanks to Terry Pack for finding this..

10835174_10152933160864463_7935236622464000841_o

Terry Pack… When I saw this, I thought it was from 1976. It’s next month.

Nigel Ford… just looked at Eddie & Hotrods website & found they’d been down here 3 times last year at the Forum, Carlisle & Ypres Castle Inn…..and I didn’t know!! Saw them twice on the Pier in the 70′s and hope they’re back this way later in the year(?)

Yvonne Cleland… But… some of the Giants Of Rock aren’t alive, are they?

Terry Pack…Don’t tell them that!

Jim Breeds… Astonishing! Shall we all book a chalet each? Do they still have red coats?

Mick Mepham… Hahaha Yvonne, they just haven’t stopped moving yet ….
