I have to say that I have stolen his opening track I Can’t Explain by the Who when I have been doing live festival gigs over the last few years. Thanks for the inspiration Steve

Kevin Burchett… Im listening to you while I write this brought back some great memories of the Cobweb and the Aquarius on thursday nights you were the best at the time and your choice of music from that era was and still is brilliant. thanks. Glad you gave Eugene and George a mention thanks again

Alan Pepper… Thanks for this great programme it has been fascinating listening to Steve after all these years. Remember the time of the early Seventies at the Aquarius so well . Dancing to the great sounds of the day. He was an inspiration to me and look back with fond memories ! Will try to visit Rye and track down Steve and have a coffee ad a chat if allowed .

Steve Maxted… Thanks to Alan Pepper for for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the memories

Tony May… Great show! I was not around in the hey day of Steve Maxted but have heard a lot about him over the years. It was brilliant to listen to his memories and what an astonishing life of variety he has led!
