Mick Mepham… (photo 1) Hurrah! Note: The girl’s eyes front left!!!  (photo 4)  Takes me back to when Rumours was a really good gig. Packed out, hot, dark, sweaty and that was just Steve’s underwear …..This is how we use to get into the dressing room, hence the expression “the place was a dive”…… — With Steve Farris, Andy Animal, Momo Sex, Mick Mepham…. ”Not at all staged …..”

Vicky Jones… I used to work at Rumours and have just dug out a poster we cobbled together of the band, with me behind the bar! my ex-hubby Nick Jones was arranging the bands for Rumours at the time..

Jamie Farris… This is very cool to see

Michael Mepham….Weird! I’m not sure where they were taken but I think the Yellowish one may have been upstairs at Rumours.Or downstairs. Don’t remember where the red one was . The 2 chaps on the left wore absolutely splendid jackets with the SH logo.

Vicky Jones… Heheh fancy finding this…. I’m the girl at the back (of the lower green one) with my chin resting on my hand. Yes it was taken at Rumours and I am looking at a copy I had stashed away as I type, my ex hubby Nick Jones used to arrange all the bands there

Andy – bassists, Gary Broughton – guitar, Mick Mepham – guitar, Steve Farris – Drums.

Michael Mepham…may well have been on the pier. The album line-up was different with Momo Sex on guitar and P P on drums. Momo went on to play with Becky Bondage in Ligotage. I do believe he’s been seen recently..

Mick Mepham…..Does anyone remember this? This from 1983 and rather well reproduced by Mo Blackford and friends. Sounds better now than it did then…. enjoy.

Clifford Rose…..I  used to have it on tape and it’s very good too.

Anna Kaye… Andy Animal was a dear friend of mine in the early 80’s – so great to have this online as a link to that time! If Andy reads this Anna-Lisa remembers hanging out with you with fondness. Hope you’re well xx

Andy Qunta… Die Laughing – great band!

Michael Mepham… Andy, I love you and I want your children …..

Tim Moose Bruce… Theres your childminding sorted Andy…

Dave Nattress… You know what chaps, one of the very nicest things about this website is that in remembering all the local bands, gigs, musicians, DJ’s, all of us trying our best, everyone is kind, supportive, says nice things and speaks so well of everyone else. This post of Die Laughing is a great example!! Rock on!!

Wendy Weaver… One of the band worked in the Tax Office, cant remember his name. I think they were waiting to go to university. They seemed to practice an awful lot They got a gig playing on the pier I think to replace someone who had cancelled. it would have been about 1980 or so.
