Len Smith… Connections: Lets start with the legend that is Billy Contreras. 1 The Urchins, 2 Beaux, 3 & 4 Kaine & Abel, 5 Pig Bin Band. There are a few more that I dont have pic, including a while in 60’s with The Sabres and 70’s with Blinker. Still going strong a couple of years ago with Colin Pierce and the still gets up on the mike now and then for a guest appearance at local pubs!

Phil Trangmar… My Cousin. Lost touch with him. Like to get in touch. philssharps@gmail.com

Colin Fox… Unfortunately Bill passed away I think about a year ago or just over.

Gerry Fortsch… I think we were called The House Shakers or The Frantics, it was a long time ago. The band was Paul Ritchie drums, Graham Bradley guitar, Rob Keely guitar, I think the guy singing was Wil Tate and me on bass. This would have been1964/5.

The Rebels – Riverside Youth Club Lewes 1965.

Colin Norton… Photo of The Rebels playing at the Riverside Youth Centre in Lewes, Sussex. Left to right: Mick Nixon – Bass (you can just see his left arm), Lawrie Broadway – Rhythm Guitar, Pete Alland – Vocals, Colin Norton- Drums, Stan Milham – Lead Guitar. Photos were taken in March, 1965. This was my Ajax kit about a year before I switched to Ludwig. Stan Milham was the leader of the Original Rebels back in 1959 or thereabouts
